Our office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. We are also available for your move by appointment only on Saturday from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM.

How Far in Advance Should I Book the Move?
We always recommend being as prepared as possible to make your residential move a smooth process. While many factors can play into a move, general thumb you can expect:
Local Moving: 4 weeks or less
Interstate Moving: At least 4 to 6 weeks depending on the time of year.
Peak season may require more time to reserve your move date.
Do You Offer Online/Virtual Estimates?
Do You Make Residential Moves on Weekends?
Yes, local moving is an option on Saturdays with an overtime rate. If you are interested in learning more or wish to get on our schedule, call our office today!
Is It Acceptable to Tip?
Yes, and it is encouraged throughout the moving industry.
Should I Empty Dresser Drawers & Cabinets Out?
Yes, you should empty at least the top two drawers, so nothing tips out while moving. Most furniture will be tipped on the side to get out of doorways.
Can I Pack All of My Belongings?
Yes, you certainly can. We call that Pack By Owner!
Can the Movers Pack My Belongings?
Yes, our team of packers will gladly pack up your belongings. A quote can be provided, and pricing is determined by box selection and quantity.
Do You Provide Packing Materials?
Yes, you can purchase boxes, tape, and packing paper for your move.
Are There Tips on Packing a Kitchen?
Mayflower Transit’s website gives tips on how to pack different rooms. They offer instructional videos and a step-by-step process.
How Can I Change My Address After the Move?
Begin with the U.S. Post Office’s online Change of Address Form. It’s also important to notify your banks, insurance providers, credit card companies, and magazine subscriptions of your new address.
Can You Pick Up the Used Materials After the Move?
Yes, call us after, and we can come to do a box pickup for when you are all unpacked.
Do I Have to be Present During the Move?
Yes, someone who is involved with the move must be there.
Can You Move Outdoor Patio Furniture?
Yes, let our team of professionals handle the heavy and awkward stuff to avoid you from getting potentially injured.
Can You Move Plants?
It is recommended that plants do not go in moving trucks as they could potentially die due to heat. Owners should move the plants themselves.
Can the Movers Arrange Furniture to My Liking?
Yes, when the items are being brought in, communicate with the movers on where you’d like them placed.
Do You Conduct Moves in Inclement Weather?
Yes! Sunshine, Rain, Snow, etc.
Can You Move My Hot Tub?
Yes, we sure can. Leave the heavy lifting to us, and we’ll have it set up in your new backyard oasis in no time!
Can You Move My Foam Mattress?
Yes, we can! We have the proper equipment to make sure it’s protected while transporting.
Can You Move My Grill?
Yes! We can move gas and/or charcoal grills. However, we will not transport gas or propane, so please make sure to empty grills prior to our arrival.

How Large of a Warehouse Do You Have?
At Clark Moving & Storage, we have over 100,000 Sq Ft of warehouse space.
Do You Offer Storage For Cars, Boats, or RVs?
Yes. We have a car storage building for vehicles and heavy equipment such as snowmobiles, ATVs, etc. We also have our Morton building, which houses larger items such as Campers, RVs, Boats, etc.
Is Long-Term Storage an Option?
Yes. At the time of storage, you can discuss the length of time you’d like to have your belongings in our warehouse.
How Are Contents Handled & Stored?
All contents will be digitally inventoried and documented. All furniture and contents are pad wrapped and secured in our wooden storage vaults. A label with a specific job number as well as the movers involved will be stapled to the vault.
Can You Tell Me About Your Mini-Storage Option?
We offer on-site mini storage units. Our Units are either 10’ x 20’ or 10’ x 30’.
Do You Offer Portable Containers?
Yes, we offer portable storage containers. Take advantage of our GO-Mini’s, our portable storage container system. We can deliver them right to your home or business, and you load your belongings at your own pace.
Do the GO-Mini’s Come in Different Sizes?
Yes. We offer three different lengths of containers. 12 ft, 16 ft, & 20 ft in length. All containers are 8’ high by 8’ wide. A 12 ft Go-Mini can hold up to two rooms of furniture. A 16 ft Go-Mini can hold up to four rooms. A 20 ft Go-Mini can hold up to six rooms.
